VIVA can provide all types of production and we do provide sound equipment along with our sound engineer(s) as standard for private events.

Can VIVA provide a DJ?

Included when you book the band are DJ playlists before, between and after the band sets which are picked to suit the occasion. We also welcome our clients to provide their own suggestions should they have specific requests or preferences. A live DJ taking requests is a very popular add-on – We have an exclusive roster of the best event DJs in Los Angeles who travel worldwide.

Can we choose what songs the band play?

VIVA spent a great deal of time at our creation to craft a show full of amazing music, choreographed dancing & huge energy, which gets updated and expanded upon each month. As we have complex musical medleys, songs are rarely played straight start to finish. Although we welcome input, ultimate trust must be placed in the band to write the set list as they deem fit and read the crowd to make live calls across the event.

Finishing after midnight?

This is rarely a problem but should be agreed on booking. Our standard quotation is for a midnight finish.

What is the band’s set times?

VIVA play a 120-minute party set, which can be either performed straight, in 2 x 60 minutes or 3 x 40 minutes sets. VIVA offer additional sets, popular at weddings and during day events, which range from a single performer to the whole band.

How far do VIVA travel?

Worldwide

Do VIVA need a stage?

We recommend performing on a stage. Similarly to lighting and sound, a good stage adds a huge amount to the performance. However, we do understand that in very small venues a stage may be unavailable.

When booking the full 12-piece band, VIVA require a minimum stage size of 24ft x 16ft, but recommend a tiered stage of 28ft x 18ft.
The 9 piece band perform on a minimum sized stage of 18ft x 10ft.

How does payment work?

As standard we require 50% of the total fee as a deposit on booking and the remaining 50% seven days before the event date.

Do VIVA have any personal requirements?

We are not a picky bunch, but ask for a greenroom to get changed, warm-up and store equipment. Our musicians may have travelled some distance to get to your event so they require a hot meal, refreshments & drinks.

How long do VIVA need to setup?

Setup and soundcheck is a minimum of 2 hours before the first set begins, but 3 hours is much preferred.

Can you offer music for a wedding ceremony and cocktail hour?
